“Cats with Pasta”

The objective was a painting about food. Pasta has always been a pleasure to paint, because of the imaginative shapes and, more recently, colours. Rocket seemed a perfect companion, emphasising the informality of the meal.

The cats epitomise the home, kitchen life and playing happily with the pasta.
