We didn’t have a family photograph, so I decided to paint our Christmas card.

A round twig wreath was a different image for me and a wonderful vehicle to show off my favourite Christmas ornaments. They usually hang off of a brown paper tree in my studio.

The white twigs encourage you to look through and see the tiny village almost hidden by snow.

The landscape is reminiscent of where I was brought up in America.

Not just our generation, but all ages, experienced magical Christmases from seeing Santa Clause in a hot air balloon, to ice skating on lakes to all the make-believe you see in this painting!
